The Qualmentus System
The Qualmentus system is largely based on an approach called Lean Six Sigma (LSS). It’s been successfully proven across a wide range of industries and companies (e.g., General Electric, Caterpillar, Dell Computers and Toyota, etc.) and has returned 10’s of millions of dollars back into these businesses. We’re bringing this approach into the healthcare industry.

Our approach recognizes that your medical practice is an integrated whole – a functioning system with many coordinated activities. The goal of these activities is to create value that exceeds the cost of providing your product or service. Identifying the discrete activities and associated linkages is the key to identifying waste (i.e., unnecessary cost of doing business).

One foundational component to our system is based on employing key measures into your practice. This is essential to our shared success because it provides our team insight (i.e., a baseline) into the overall health of your business operations. This approach is strikingly similar to the approach a physician would take to measure (e.g., blood pressure, cholesterol level, height, weight, etc) the overall health of a patient.
Another foundational component is focused on sustaining the gains so processes continue to function properly in the future. This is largely dependent on the measurement system we put in place and your staff. As a result, a cornerstone of our approach is focused on influencing a culture of continuous improvement. We teach your staff basic techniques that can be used to foster a sense of continuous improvement long after our engagement ends.
